History & Core Values
Lamont Christian Reformed Church began with just 12 families in 1879. Our first church building was constructed in 1884, and since that time, there have been four major renovations to the original building. The last being in 1992. We are part of the Christian Reformed denomination.

Our Mission Statement
Lamont Christian Reformed Church will provide biblical preaching in the context of a traditional worship setting. We are a caring and prayerful congregation guided by the Holy Spirit that encourages one another in love and fellowship. We provide education and age-integrated Bible study as tools to build the Kingdom of Christ. We strive to serve by sharing the gospel with our neighbors across the street, across the nation, and around the world. We are dedicated to do all things humbly through Christ and for God's glory.
Our Vision Statement
It is the vision of the Lamont Christian Reformed Church to be a 'Tree Planted by the River' (Psalm 1:3). To be rooted more deeply in Christ through the Bible; nourished by preaching, study, fellowship and prayer; growing in outreach, service, and love; expanding our youth programs, missions, community interaction and leadership, in our village, county, state, country and world; and readily bringing back praise and admiration for what Christ is doing in establishing His Kingdom.
